On Wednesday I took Hadley with me to the store. She asked me what the blue rectangle signs were in the parking lot. I explained to her what the handicap parking sign meant. Then she said, "Mom, I wish you were handicap so we could park close to the door."
I'm still laughing now, 2 days later, as I type. I told her I didn't mind walking the extra distance because I'm very thankful to have a body that works well. She said, "Oh, yeah, right. That's actually better." She was a little embarrassed about it.
